at work so writing this here so i remember when i get home. 

have decided to make Yvette a moth of some kind. 

Moth's are celestial navigators, the reason they are always attacking lights is because they want to get to the stars or get confused about stars or something - so
A moth on earth would be very interested in a boy from the stars. 

this then becomes a thing about wanting something unattainable but for someone else thats just a reality and then they have questions for each other.  

also i think there's a part somewhere about houses and building etc - 

how is a house made, 

you build it by putting two pieces of wood together and hammering it. 

but where do you get the hammer, 

someone makes it

if that person can't make the hammer can you? 

'I don't think I have the patience to grow a tree, or the heart to cut one down'.
